Danielle & Justin got in touch with me when her wedding planner/bridesmaid gave her a list of photographers! When she first reached out to me she sounded cool over the internet but you know how people can sound cool but then be totally different in real life? Yeah well… She was the exact same in real life. Her & Justin both were just super chill, down to earth people. We met at Starbucks were i obsessed over her hair color (it was blue, i of course at the time had purple hair). We basically hit it off & immediately became friends. Even if they were to go in a different direction for their wedding i would have asked to remain friends LOL.
When we originally met for their consultation their wedding was going to be in Hillsboro Texas, in this cute little old warehouse. It was going have a coffee bar, full blown
Chick-fil-a catering & have a ton of Harry Potter details. However, about a month & half before their wedding i get this phone call asking if i could talk. One a photographer never wants to hear those words, I immediately was looking at my calendar seeing if i forgot a meeting but i didn’t. They wanted to talk to me about them canceling their huge wedding here in the DFW area & going to one of their/mine favorite places ever…. Colorado. When they said that i just was like HELL YES without a doubt i will be there. Mannnn that weekend was a world wind, i had 4 yes 4 weddings that weekend. So needless to say i was tired but running on excitement.
Their wedding in Colorado i would call, Perfect. It literally was them in a wedding. Chill, Laid Back & Down to Earth surrounded by their closest friends & family members. Her Harry Potter touches still remained in tact throughout her wedding day & they had Dominos & Chick-Fil-A for catering, can you say amazing? Her dress was absolutely stunning with all the detail on it & her shoes were the BOMB. Justin had a custom suit made & man boy got that STYLE – probably one of my favorite suite to date. They got married on the most magical of hill tops at the Garden Of the Gods in Colorado Springs, they were surrounded by stunning nature & amazing sunshine. I honestly don’t think they could have picked a more perfect day to get married & i am so glad that i was there to witness it not only as their wedding photographer, but their friend! I am so excited to watch this next chapter of their lives unfold!
Congratulations, again Mr. & Mrs. Sweely!
