Elizabeth & Cirby

My goodness it has been forever since I have blogged and I can not wait to dive head first back into it. To kick us off welcome to the blog of –

Elizabeth & Cirby!

Elizabeth & Cirby were married on August 28th 2021 in Weatherford, Texas at Trickel Creek. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family. Let’s talk about their wedding details for a moment. Elizabeth’s bridesmaids dress color was so stunning and truly complimented the day all together. Then the pops of red that were in the flowers through out the bouquets and the reception flowers really popped. The men really looked pretty snazzy themselves in their blue tux’s. Elizabeth’s wedding dress was so stunning on its own. From the lace detailing to the simple shimmer that it gave off in the sunlight, her hair/make & veil really completed her whole bridal look.

Their day was so magical and deffff a party! From their first look where I don’t think there was a dry eye anywhere. To the ceremony with laughs, tears and so much love. To the reception where it was just a HUGE party. Best part of the reception – was defff the replacement of the garter toss with ALL the men in the reception hall dancing the Carlton dance, you know? The Carlton dance, JUMP ON ITTTTT! They had the sweetest toasts and so many people traveled far and wide to be with them to celebrate this new journey they embarked on.

I was so honored to be apart of their amazing vendor team for their wedding & I can not wait to share their full gallery with them, but until then. Here is a huge preview into their wedding day.

Congratulations, again Elizabeth & Cirby!

xoxo – Hannah

Kallison & Dakota were married on August, 17th 2019 at Avalon Legacy Ranch in McKinney. While their day was hot it was full of so much love & passion. I have never met two people that wear their hearts on their sleeves like these two do. They were surrounded by their closest friends & family to witness them become one!

Kallison dress was nothing like I have seen before. From the lace to the strand of beading on the back of her dress, it will definitely be a favorite of mine for years to come! During their first look I don’t think that there was dry eye between Kallison & Dakota. It was such a special moment that I am so glad that I was apart of! I will admit I was crying behind my camera, trying not the lose it LOL! Their ceremony was just as special because Dakotas grandfather was the officiant for it. That in itself is so memorable & I am so glad that they will have these images to remember that moment for many many years to come! After the ceremony we took amazing portraits during sunset then we partied the night away!

It was such an honor to be their wedding photographer & I have gained friends for life now! I wish them nothing but the best on this next journey of their lives!

Congratulations again Mr & Mrs. Lee!

Mr & Mrs. Hellums

When Hayley first emailed me I was so excited to find out that I was one of her first vendors that she was booking. She said ‘she knew she needed me as their photographer’. That is itself is the biggest compliment I think anyone can ever tell a photographer. I officially didn’t meet Hayley until her bridal session a few weeks before her wedding! However, I felt like I knew her my whole life & couldn’t wait for the wedding after her bridal session!

During her bridal session, we were talking about her wedding venue that she worked at & come to find out that it was a famous house from the ’70s because of its history! Me being the person I am & loving crime stories/shows I had to learn more about this house. Well, it was Cullen Davis house – he is famous for 2 murders & other crimes that he was completely acquitted for. I found this so interesting & honestly just wanted to explore the whole house. Stonegate mansion has since turned into one of the coolest/beautiful venues I have ever seen. There are so many amazing places for portraits & the ceremony/reception hall lighting is everything to me. So much natural light beams through the floor to ceiling windows.

Hayley & Ryan’s wedding was one for the books. Her attention to detail really killed the game. From her floral centerpieces to her wedding dress. Their day was filled with so much love to last a lifetime. I have never seen such a full ceremony/reception, I don’t think there was an empty chair in sight.  Hayley really wanted to have a clean style with the bridal party so the bridesmaids wore black & the men wore all black tuxes, can you say ELEGANT. That’s exactly how I would describe their whole day, elegant. Their reception was popping all night & no one wanted to leave at the end of the wedding. That is what I call a wedding for the books! Congratulations, again you two! I hope you two are enjoying married life to its fullest!

Do ever meet someone & immediately say, yeah we are going to become great friends.. not good BUT GREAT. Yeah, that’s how I felt when I first met Whitney & Ben. When we first started talking about meeting for their consultation I suggested that we met at a Starbucks & Whitney was like uhhh do you mind if we go for ice cream instead… I stared at that email for a good 5 minutes & said ‘yeah I can already tell we are going to get along’. The night of the meeting came & I got there early as I do & I saw them pull up & I saw Whitney turn to Ben & she said ‘i think that’s her, what do we do’. Their consultation was just talking about how these two met, their love story & eating ice cream. We literally barely talked about packages or details. I got an email from Whitney not even 10 minutes after we left stating they wanted to book me.

Whitney & Ben met online when Whitney sliiiiiidd into Ben’s DM like a BOSS. Ben then took her out to Olive Garden for their first date & I mean who doesn’t love Olive Garden. Then the rest is basically history. When I asked Whitney when she knew she was going to marry Ben she said Pretty early on in our relationship. He just always took care of me and everything he did has so much love behind it.’ Cue tears. When I asked Ben when he knew he was going to marry Whitney he said ‘It was when I first told her I loved her during a weekend trip to San Antonio while we were eating at a restaurant on the river walk. She had already said I love you a couple of months before and I knew if she was as patient, considerate, and able to put up with my shit to that point she had to be the one.” CUE MORE TEARS.  These two are so in love & I am so excited to be celebrating with them come February of 2020!

Congrulations you two – This year is going to fly by then it will be your turn to become Mr & Mrs. I am so grateful that you two have chosen me to be on this journey with you!

XOXO – Hannah

Carolyn & Matt

Where can I even start with this blog? When I first spoke to Carolyn I knew that we were going to become more than just a vendor-client relationship. Well, life happened & she went in a different direction for photography, that’s totally fine I respected their decision.   A couple months had passed when her coordinator Ammie with Glitter & Glue Weddings and Event reached out to me and asked if I still had their date & I said YES! I was so honored that they choose me after all the time had passed. Since that day I have grown a bond with Carolyn & Matt during their wedding journey. I took their engagements, Carolyn’s bridals & of course their wedding. Getting two know these two on a personal level has been so so rewarding & I can’t wait to see where their relationship goes on this next chapter of their lives.

Carolyn & Matt got married at Hidden Creek in Heath, Tx! Carolyn had a clear vision of what she wanted on her wedding day & she wasn’t going to let anything stray her from that vision! She had touches of blush, rose gold & greenery everywhere! She had her dress custom made & I mean come on LOOK AT IT – it is stunning & there will never be another dress out there like it! She also let her bridesmaids were different dresses & I loved that touch because it let them give a little of their personality to the wedding! Also, can we take a moment for their ceremony decor – Tammy from T & T flowers & gifts KILLED the game with these flowers!  There were so many sweet sweet moments from this wedding that I could talk about all day but I will share this one. Their first look touched my heart, Matt told me at the engagement session & at dinner after her bridal session that he was not going to cry & BOY did he tear up, they both did! It was such a sweet moment to be a part of. Carolyn surprised her mom with a special mother & daughter dance & boy when I tell you I had to take a moment to gather my tears, these dances mean so much to me because I did it with my own mother at my wedding, her mom was so surprised when the DJ announced it & there was not a dry tear while they were on the dance floor. Another part of their wedding day that I ABSOLUTELY loved was the SUN, the sun decided it was time to come play during their portraits session & even though everyone wanted to go inside because it was FREEZING outside I said no & stood my grounds & you will see why below! You cant tell it was 10 degrees outside! Once we went inside for the reception it was nothing but a huge huge party – their bridal party & guest kept the party going all night! Then they had the most perfect sparkler exit to their perfect wedding day! I am so honored that I was apart of this day & I am so honored to be walking away with 2 new amazing friends! Congratulations Mr & Mrs. Wenhold!

Hannah & Joey

The Rockwall Manor, Hannah Hays Photography, The springs Event venues, Terrell Texas, Dallas Texas, Wedding Photography

Hannah & Joey were married on December 15th, 2018 at The Rockwall Manor in Terrell, Texas. I remember when I first met these two at Starbucks with Hannah’s mom. We instantly connected & while leaving the coffee shop I was very confident that we were going to become great friends! Throughout their journey, I was able to photograph their Engagements, Hannah’s bridals & of course their Wedding!  Getting two know these two on a personal level has been so rewarding & I can’t wait to see where their relationship goes on this next chapter of their lives.

Hannah had a vision for her wedding day, her touches of maroon & gold really played well together. I love that she included blankets for her guest during the ceremony, such a warm touch. They also did communion together for their unity ceremony & I really feel like that was such a personal touch for them. Oh & let’s not forget about their Whataburger groom’s Cake – They love Whataburger so much that they even messaged them to get their numbers for their Wedding date. Hanah & Joey’s first look was so full of love – Joey’s smile says it all when he first saw his bride all done up! They were surrounded by so much love you can definitely tell the people that were at their wedding wanted to be there. Their reception was nothing but a huge party & their exit was EPIC.  I am so honored that I got to be a part of their Wedding Journey, it has been nothing but amazing! Raven & Chad

Would you believe me if I told you a tornado was supposed to hit the area Raven & Chad’s wedding was supposed to be at?! Well by the grace of God the Skys opened up and it was sunny for a moment during their ceremony! Ravens vision of her wedding came to life in the reception hall with her touches of rose gold & maroons! I love that Chad made her centerpieces, it just made her details that much more special! I also personally love their sign in table – they had their guitar as their guest book how unique is that?! Another detail that I love is that Chads mom made the cakes and let me say they were sooo GOOD! Chad told me at their engagement session that he wasn’t going to cry when he saw Raven but I knew he would and of course he did! Their sand ceremony touched everyones hearts became they all became one family! Their reception was a party in itself – the dance floor was never empty! I am so honored that I was hired to become their wedding photography because I gained two amazing friends for life out of it! I cant wait to see where their new journey takes them! Mr & Mrs. Seaman

Every girl dreams of her dream wedding for a long time, well that is no different for Gabby! She told me she had been dreaming of her wedding since she was a little girl & when she met Nick she knew he would make them all come true. From her venue to her flowers her wedding day was absolutely perfect! You would have never know it started to rain as soon as we started their portraits if I didn’t just tell you that. Their ceremony was perfect from Nicks reaction to seeing Gabby walk down their aisle to the lighting during the ceremony to the rainbow while we were taking their pictures! When the rain finally passed we got to sneak them out for a more portraits of just them two after that their dance floor was never empty, their wedding guest knew how to wedding! I knew I wanted to blog this wedding from the moment I started editing it. Gabby & Nick have become more than clients to me they have become friends & I will Cherish them forever. I am so honored that she choose me out of all the photographers she could have chosen from to be her wedding photographer. Their day was truly perfect! Congratulations again you two! 2018-12-05_00382018-12-05_00392018-12-05_00402018-12-05_00412018-12-05_00422018-12-05_00432018-12-05_00662018-12-05_00652018-12-05_00642018-12-05_00632018-12-05_00932018-12-05_00612018-12-05_00442018-12-05_00452018-12-05_00462018-12-05_00472018-12-05_00482018-12-05_00492018-12-05_00502018-12-05_00672018-12-05_00682018-12-05_00692018-12-05_00702018-12-05_00512018-12-05_00522018-12-05_00532018-12-05_00722018-12-05_0071Rockwall Manor, Hannah Hays Photography, Fall wedding 2019, October Bride, The Springs Event Venue, Rockwall Texas, Dallas Texas2018-12-05_00732018-12-05_00742018-12-05_00752018-12-05_00762018-12-05_00772018-12-05_00782018-12-05_01022018-12-05_01032018-12-05_00792018-12-05_00802018-12-05_00542018-12-05_00552018-12-05_00852018-12-05_00862018-12-05_00872018-12-05_00882018-12-05_00892018-12-05_00902018-12-05_00602018-12-05_00562018-12-05_00572018-12-05_00582018-12-05_00592018-12-05_00812018-12-05_00822018-12-05_00832018-12-05_00842018-12-05_00922018-12-05_00912018-12-05_00962018-12-05_00972018-12-05_00982018-12-05_00992018-12-05_01002018-12-05_00952018-12-05_00942018-12-05_01042018-12-05_01052018-12-05_01062018-12-05_0107

Maranda & Peyton

Engagement Session, Houston Texas, Hannah Hays Photography, Conroe Texas, Woods, Trees, Light, Sunrise

If you know me you know I am not a morning person at all – I am a night owl and I like to sleep in the mornings. LOL so when Maranda brought up the idea of a Sunrise session an hour away from where we were I was not happy about it at first. But I will do anything to make sure my couples love their images and that is what she wanted! After driving all day the day before to get to Houston I went to bed early and was up at 3 am to get to her house and go with her to get hair and makeup done! Once we were done we made the hour drive to Conroe, Tx where we literally got lost in the woods. Maranda & Peyton are literally the cutest couple, they can look at each-other and you can just see the love radiating off of them. Peyton would go to the ends of earth to make her happy! I literally laughed their whole session because they were just so giggly and COLD – cant tell by looking at them can you? LOL. I literally loved their engagement session – it will be of my favorites forever! I cant wait to for their November 2019 wedding! Kayla & Trevor met me for their engagement session this past Sunday at Lone Star Lodge Resort and Marina! They were the sweetest couple and so full of love! Trevor and Kayla are high school sweethearts & funny enough we went to high school together but never met until they got engaged lol! Their session was amazing from the lighting to just getting to know them two on a personal level! Kayla is an amazing artist and is in her first year of teaching & Trevor is almost done with school – he is going to be a coach and a math teacher! Would you believe that this was their first time getting pictures done together ever? I am so excited to be photographing their wedding next November! Congratulations again you two! ❤ Lone Star Lodge Resort and Marina, Engagement Session, Couple, Hannah Hays Photography, Fall Session,  Fall Wedding2018-11-06_00022018-11-06_00032018-11-06_00042018-11-06_00052018-11-06_00062018-11-06_00072018-11-06_00082018-11-06_00092018-11-06_00102018-11-06_00112018-11-06_00122018-11-06_00132018-11-06_00142018-11-06_00152018-11-06_00162018-11-06_0017
